I hope everyone is having a great break.  I know you don't want to think about it (me neither), but we have a lot of work to do once we get back.  Below, is the reading guide for Chapter 15.  It will be due on Monday, January 10.  If you want a head start, here it is:

1.  Collect essays and RG Chapter 12
2.  Lecture: Slavery in America, part 1

RG Chapter 10 due on Wednesday

Tuesday, December 14

Lecture:  Slavery in America, part 2

RG Due tomorrow

Wednesday, December 15

DBQ--examine question and documents

Complete document analysis for homework if necessary

Thursday, December 16

Writing a DBQ.  DBQ for the reform period will be due when you come back from break.
Also, start reading chapters 13 and 14.  Complete reading guide for Tuesday, January 4

Friday, December 17

Wrap things up before break.  The following is due:

Typed DBQ essay due on Monday, January 3
RG Chapters 13-14 due on Tuesday, January 4

You will be getting the Chapter 15 and 16 reading guides when you come back.  I will try to post them during break if you would like to get ahead.

1.  Peer review:  Introductions
2.  Discuss essay writing.  Assign essay.  You will be writing a full essay based on ONE of the introductions you wrote.  The final typed essay will be due next Monday.

Friday, December 10

1.  Terms Test #3

Typed Free-Response Essay due on Monday.  Start reading Chapter 10  Complete Reading Guide for Wednesday, December 15.  You will have a DBQ that covers this chapter.

Looking ahead:

Next week, start Chapters 13,14.  Reading Guide due when we come back from break.
Take-home DBQ over break.

After Break:  Chapters 15 and 16.  Terms Test #4.  Final Exam.
