Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee

Your first assignment is to read the first chapter from Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown. The chapter is entitled, "Their Manners Are Decorous and Praiseworthy." Although the chapter will be given in class, you can get a head start by reading the chapter online at GoogleBooks.

As you read the chapter, you will need to complete an "Article Analysis Sheet." There will be a quiz over the reading the next day. Enjoy.
